I’m back after a hiatus …
My posts on various subjects were posted on the company website and my LinkedIn Page. However, I did think that some of the contents of my Blogs were not appropriate for either platform as they were business platforms.
People who have read my posts and my blogs believe that I write without pulling my punches. I do not know if that is entirely correct. As a person I have been known to ‘talk too much’ by many who know me well. I tried to change that but failed. I then told those who mattered to take me as I am. Fact is that I hardly get an opportunity to talk to anyone from Monday to Friday when my travel path does not waver from my house to work and back home in the evening.
My problem is, that the subjects that interest me do not really interest my girls. I am not surprised as I am mostly interested in discussing Indian politics, religion and the various hues of the beliefs that I have, aliens , books and such subjects. Funnily, I rarely talk my favourite sport – cricket – as I really do not suffers fools when it comes to cricket.
As I close in on my sixtieth year of living and breathing on this planet, I feel that It is time for me to express, with more detail , my feelings on what I have experienced, what I feel today and also my hopes for the future. I have strong views and I often restrain myself when I write about them but I’ve lived long enough for me to allow myself some ‘freedom of expression’.
My daughters are adults and really do not need to learn much from me. However, I have two grand daughters, who I love deeply and with a feeling that I have never experienced before. Seeing my elder grand daughter’s face makes me forget my troubles. That is some achievement for the little one. I believe that one day, what I write may help them and any other descendants that I have, understand me and what I stood/ stand for.
